Dubai Holding Awards AED 5 Billion Contract for New HQ and Jumeirah Residences

Dubai Holding has awarded an AED 5 billion construction contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East for the development of its new headquarters and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, marking the largest single building contract awarded by the group to date.

The new Dubai Holding headquarters, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), will feature a distinctive circular design centred around an open-air atrium, landscaped courtyard and expansive terraces. The building is scheduled to open in 2029, with sustainability, employee wellbeing and technology forming key elements of the design.
The contract will also advance Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, a flagship residential development by Meraas featuring 754 branded residences across two towers. The project is expected to be handed over in 2030 and will combine contemporary architecture with Jumeirah’s hospitality, wellness and lifestyle offering.
Located within one of Dubai’s most prominent business districts, the combined development is set to introduce a new corporate and residential landmark while strengthening Dubai Holding’s long-term real estate portfolio.
