Harry Potter Theme Park Abu Dhabi: Three New Lands Coming to Yas Island by 2029
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is expanding with three new Harry Potter-themed lands — Diagon Alley, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest — set to bring the Wizarding World to Yas Island by 2029.

Miral, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, has announced a major expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, introducing three immersive Harry Potter-themed lands.
The new areas will be inspired by Diagon Alley, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest, bringing some of the most recognisable locations from the Wizarding World to Abu Dhabi.
63,000 sqm of New Harry Potter Experiences
The Harry Potter expansion will cover approximately 63,000 sqm (678,000 sq ft) and will feature immersive environments, detailed storytelling and attractions designed specifically for the Abu Dhabi park.
Visitors can also expect world-exclusive Harry Potter-themed rides, created exclusively for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
Construction Targeted for 2029
Construction of the three new Harry Potter lands is targeted for completion in 2029.
The project forms part of a wider expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, which will increase the theme park’s overall size by more than 50%.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Is Expanding
Alongside the Harry Potter lands, the wider expansion will also include two new DC attractions:
Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away.
Together, the new additions will introduce around 70,000 sqm (753,478 sq ft) of additional theme park space.
A Major Addition to Abu Dhabi Tourism
The expansion further strengthens Yas Island’s position as one of Abu Dhabi’s leading leisure and entertainment destinations.
With major attractions already including Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and SeaWorld Yas Island, the arrival of the Wizarding World is expected to add another globally recognised attraction to Abu Dhabi’s tourism offering.
