Abu Dhabi's real estate growth in 2026 has been driven by strong activity across several key communities.
According to ADREC's Q1 2026 data, total real estate transactions reached AED 66 billion across 13,518 transactions, with Hudayriyat Island, Al Reem Island, and Saadiyat Island among the leading areas by transaction value.
Hudayriyat Island emerged as the top-performing area in Q1 2026, recording AED 11.97 billion in transactions. This reflects growing interest in large-scale master-planned communities, waterfront living, and luxury residential development.
Al Reem Island continued to perform strongly, recording AED 9.45 billion in transactions in Q1 2026. The island remains one of Abu Dhabi's most active residential destinations, especially for apartments, rental demand, and investor-focused purchases.
Saadiyat Island also remained a major market driver, recording AED 8.8 billion in Q1 2026 transactions. Known for luxury residences, cultural landmarks, beachfront communities, and premium developments, Saadiyat continues to attract high-end buyers and long-term investors.
Yas Island remains another key area, supported by its lifestyle attractions, family communities, entertainment destinations, and continuous residential development. Aldar's launch of Yas Park Place further highlights the ongoing demand for new homes in the heart of Yas Island.
