Miral Invests AED 12 Billion to Drive the Next Phase of Yas Island’s Growth
Miral will invest more than AED 12 billion across Yas Island over the next five years to expand attractions, hospitality and immersive experiences.

Miral has announced plans to invest more than AED 12 billion across Yas Island over the next five years, supporting a new pipeline of developments alongside major expansions and enhancements to existing attractions.
The investment is designed to strengthen Yas Island’s position as a leading global leisure and entertainment destination while supporting the objectives of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030.
As part of the next phase of growth, Miral plans to expand Yas Island’s existing theme parks and attractions while introducing new immersive rides, experiences and entertainment offerings in response to evolving visitor expectations.
The investment will also support the expansion of Yas Island’s hospitality sector, with plans to add new hotel rooms and enhance the island’s accommodation portfolio, further broadening the destination’s tourism offering.
According to Miral, the AED 12 billion programme is separate from the previously announced Disney project and forms part of the company’s long-term plans for the continued development of Yas Island.
The upcoming projects are also expected to support job creation and skills development within Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector, contributing to the emirate’s wider economic diversification and sustainable growth ambitions.
Through continued investment in leisure, hospitality and entertainment, Miral aims to further enhance Yas Island’s international appeal while creating new experiences for residents and visitors from around the world.
